Today's AWAD quote:
A child’s education should begin at least one hundred years before he is born. – Oliver Wendell Holmes (1809-1894) American author and poet.
Found by googling the quote to learn more about Holmes:
It is undoubtedly true that a child’s education begins well before that child is even born, for it is what we leave a child that they will learn from. The lessons of the past are that in which become the lessons for which children learn to conduct the future. While the prevention of all that is unjust in the world is unlikely to dissipate and find complete resolution, however the lessons left for the future do not have to remain bleak Those lessons in which we can leave our children, are that of a world found on unity and peace, a world which works to build a sustainable and thriving future for the next generation. Therefore let us see not that the children of tomorrow have nothing to learn but the lessons of war, poverty and hate.
