Learned about a new cold-brew coffee-making technique today. (It's not even fancy enough to call a technique, really.)
You pour cold water over freshly ground beans and let them soak for 12-18 hours. (I'll have to play with the coffee:water ratio as sources are conflicted.)
The "coffee concentrate" you end up with will keep for two weeks in the fridge, apparently. When you want coffee you just mix a small amount of concentrate with hot water. Ta-da!
Reminds me of the no-knead bread-making method. "Let time do the work for you!"
