Outlander

I finished Outlander last night. Although I did enjoy it, I don't know if I'll read the next books in the series. I had heard it was a love story and I'm not usually nig on those romance-type novels. (Actually, I really dislike them!) In this one, there were some sappy parts that made me groan inwardly ("You may not be the first lass I've kissed, but I promise you that you'll be the last...") but the story itself kept me going. I enjoyed learning about life in the Highlands and I want to read up on Scottish history.

I'll write more about this book another time...
