"Mate Poaching"

We were just talking about this the other day, how men with wedding bands get even more hit on than obviously single guys. I think women are more attracted to married men (or otherwise non-single men) because they’ve already been “pre-approved” by another woman. And this Globe and Mail article I just read says the same thing: “It's kind of like an automatic relationship test, just the fact that someone else obviously thought they were cool enough to be involved with.”
