(a) They don't kill the babies.
but (b), even if they did - the US kills thousands of baby cows every year. So what?

Seals are in no danger of extinction. They just happen to be cute (and hence have a bunch of celebrities on their side).

I say "save the poor (financially poor) hunters" should come before "save the poor seals".
